Job Description
- Selling CeGaT Medical Genetic Diagnostic and Customized NGS Project services in Slovakia, Czech Republic and Hungary
- Reaching an annual sales target
- Reaching other personal targets agreed
- Establishing & supporting long-term relationships with KOLs in the sales region
- Thoroughly entering customer information in CRM system
- Answering customer applicational and technical questions (in complex cases using support from CeGaT headquarter)
- Communicating with patients directly if required to explain complex testing procedures (especially in the field of somatic onco-genetics)
- Collecting information about competitor activity and market conditions/requirements
- Support the company‘s management in formulating sales and marketing strategies in the region
- Negotiations with organizers of and participation in local exhibitions/conferences
- Reporting regularly to Area Business Manager CEE
- Job requires travel within the region (up to 50% at non-COVID times) as well as participation in sales meetings in the company’s headquarter (Tübingen, Germany) 2-4 times a year

Requirements
- Location in the region is a must, preferred location is in Slovakia
- Candidates with recently obtained M.Sc. or PhD/MD in biological sciences or medicine are welcome
- Thorough understanding of genetics (either research or medical genetics)
- Understanding of NGS techniques is an advantage
- 1-2 years of experience in sales/customer care/application support in a
biotech, pharma or medical/research device company is strongly preferred - Experience with a CRM is an advantage
- Self-motivated and result-oriented
- Strong communication skills and negotiating ability
- English – B2 level or above, Slovakian or Czech – C2 or mother tongue; additional knowledge of Hungarian – extra advantage
- Ability to work independently, oriented towards performance and results, and at the same time to work efficiently as a part of a remote sales team
- An interest in selling advanced technology products
- A solid gasp of scientific and medical concepts and procedures
- Willingness to travel 50% of working time
