Das Update ist ein weiterer Schritt nach vorn bei der Bereitstellung innovativer L\u00f6sungen zur Verbesserung der Patientinnen- und Patientenversorgung.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Von Anfang an hat CeGaT mit ExomeXtra\u00ae die genetische Diagnostik \u00fcber die \u00fcblicherweise untersuchten, kodierenden Regionen hinaus erweitert: Es ber\u00fccksichtigt nicht-kodierende Varianten und verf\u00fcgt \u00fcber einen genomischen Backbone f\u00fcr die Bestimmung von CNVs im gesamten Genom. Die neueste Version 6 von ExomeXtra\u00ae baut diese F\u00e4higkeiten weiter aus: Sie erfasst alle nicht-kodierenden Splei\u00dfstellen und alle nicht-kodierenden RNAs, die am Splei\u00dfprozess beteiligt sind. Zus\u00e4tzlich erweitert das Screening auf relevante Infektionen den diagnostischen Nutzen von ExomeXtra\u00ae auch in der Pr\u00e4nataldiagnostik.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Einbeziehung nicht-kodierender Splei\u00dfstellen und aller snRNAs in beiden Splei\u00dfosomen, einschlie\u00dflich <em>RNU4-2<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Splei\u00dfdefekte k\u00f6nnen schwerwiegende Folgen haben. Allerdings werden bei der konventionellen Exom-Diagnostik relevante Varianten \u00fcbersehen, wenn sie in nicht-kodierenden, nicht-translatierten Exons liegen. Au\u00dferdem werden nicht-kodierende splei\u00dfende RNAs meist nicht analysiert. Daher deckt unsere ExomeXtra\u00ae-Anreicherung nun alle kleinen nukle\u00e4ren RNAs (snRNAs) beider Splei\u00dfosomen ab, darunter auch <em>RNU4-2<\/em>. Eine k\u00fcrzlich erschienene Publikation\u00b9 identifizierte <em>RNU4-2<\/em> als h\u00e4ufige Ursache f\u00fcr syndromale neurologische Entwicklungsst\u00f6rungen, was die Bedeutung seiner Einbeziehung unterstreicht.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Einf\u00fchrung eines pr\u00e4natalen Infektionsscreenings<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In Anbetracht der Auswirkungen pr\u00e4nataler Infektionen auf die Gesundheit des F\u00f6tus bietet die neueste Version von ExomeXtra\u00ae ein Screening auf Infektionen wie Toxoplasmose, Varizellen, Zytomegalie, Ringelr\u00f6teln, Syphilis und Herpes Simplex Virus Typ 1 und 2. Diese Infektionen sind nicht genetisch bedingt und bleiben bei herk\u00f6mmlichen Exom-Sequenzierungen unentdeckt.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Verbesserter Backbone f\u00fcr array-\u00e4hnliche CNV-Detektion und Abdeckung zus\u00e4tzlicher nicht-kodierender Varianten<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Mit diesem Update haben wir die Coverage krankheitsassoziierter nicht-kodierender Varianten auf \u00fcber 46.000 Zielregionen erweitert. ExomeXtra\u00ae ist das einzige Exom, das eine vollst\u00e4ndige Coverage relevanter Varianten aus den ClinVar- und HGMD-Datenbanken bietet. Zudem wurde das CNV-Backbone f\u00fcr die array-\u00e4hnliche Detektion von Kopienzahlvariationen (CNV) im gesamten Genom durch Hinzuf\u00fcgen von Sonden verst\u00e4rkt und damit die Dichte in der N\u00e4he kodierender Gene erh\u00f6ht.
