Daher werden bei der Behandlung zunehmend Medikamente eingesetzt, die gezielt gegen die durch Genfusionen \u00fcberaktivierten Signalwege gerichtet sind. CancerDetect\u00ae weist nun Fusionen an angereicherten Bruchpunkten in den Genen <em>ALK, RET, ROS1, FGFR2, FGFR3<\/em>, und <em>NTRK1<\/em> nach und unterst\u00fctzt die behandelnden \u00c4rztinnen und \u00c4rzten bei Therapieentscheidungen.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>ALK-, ROS1- und RET-Fusionen erweitern Lungenkrebsuntersuchung<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Die hinzugekommenen <em>ALK-, ROS1-<\/em> und <em>RET<\/em>-Fusionen erweitern die Untersuchung von Lungenkrebs durch CancerDetect\u00ae erheblich. Liegen diese Fusionen vor, stehen verschiedene Therapieoptionen wie z. B. Repotrectinib oder Pralsetinib zur Verf\u00fcgung. Auch die nun m\u00f6gliche Detektion von <em>FGFR2\/3<\/em>-Fusionen unterst\u00fctzt die weitere Charakterisierung von Lungenkarzinomen. Diese sind f\u00fcr weitere Tumorentit\u00e4ten, wie beispielsweise das Cholangiokarzinom, relevant, da Medikamente wie Pemigatinib und Futibatinib verabreicht werden k\u00f6nnen.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Tumoragnostischer Ansatz mit <em>NTRK1<\/em>-Fusionen<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Die neu aufgenommenen <em>NTRK1<\/em>-Fusionen erm\u00f6glichen einen tumoragnostischen Ansatz mit CancerDetect\u00ae. Fusionen mit Beteiligung des Gens <em>NTRK1<\/em> wirken als starke onkogene Treiber und treten bei verschiedenen Tumorentit\u00e4ten auf. Tumoragnostische Ans\u00e4tze zielen unabh\u00e4ngig von der vorliegenden Krebsentit\u00e4t- oder -lokalisation auf spezifische genetische Ver\u00e4nderungen ab. Zulassungen f\u00fcr Therapieans\u00e4tze bestehen derzeit sowohl in der EU (EMA) als auch den USA (FDA) f\u00fcr <em>NTRK<\/em>-Inhibitoren mit Medikamenten wie Entrectinib.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Wichtige Erweiterungen: <em>AR<\/em> und <em>CDKN2A<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Zus\u00e4tzlich zu den neuen Fusionen haben wir das CancerDetect\u00ae-Panel um weitere therapierelevante Targets erweitert. Hervorzuheben sind:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Androgenrezeptor (<em>AR<\/em>): Erworbene Resistenz-Mutationen in diesem Transkriptionsfaktor spielen bei fortgeschrittenem kastrationsresistentem Prostatakrebs (mCRPC) unter Anti-Androgen-Therapie eine Rolle. Um eine ad\u00e4quate Therapieplanung zu erm\u00f6glichen ist es entscheidend, diese Mutationen fr\u00fchzeitig zu identifizieren.<\/li>\n<li><em>CDKN2A<\/em>: Dieses Tumorsuppressor-Gen kodiert f\u00fcr zwei Proteine, die Zellzykluswege regulieren. Mutationen, die <em>CDKN2A<\/em> inaktivieren, werden mit einer Vielzahl von Krebsarten, wie z. B. Pankreas und Brustkrebs, in Verbindung gebracht. Daher ist <em>CDKN2A<\/em> ein wichtiger Biomarker, der therapeutisch adressiert werden kann.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Warum CancerDetect\u00ae?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">CancerDetect\u00ae erkennt mittels Fl\u00fcssigbiopsie-Analyse handlungsrelevante Varianten und Fusionen in zellfreier DNA (cfDNA) aus Blut und anderen Fl\u00fcssigbiopsien. Dank unkomplizierter, nicht-invasiver und wiederholbarer Probenahme stellt es ein hervorragendes Werkzeug zum Monitoring des Therapieansprechens dar. Durch den hochsensitiven Nachweis tumorspezifischer Biomarker zeigt es die Tumordynamik in Echtzeit und erm\u00f6glicht eine Anpassung der Behandlung, z. B. bei Auftauchen einer Resistenzmutation.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">CancerDetect\u00ae ist aber auch ein sehr wichtiges Testverfahren in F\u00e4llen, in denen kein Tumorgewebe verf\u00fcgbar ist, z. B. bei inoperablen Tumoren, oder wenn ein Eingriff aktuell nicht zumutbar ist aufgrund eines schlechten Patientenzustands. Alle relevanten Untersuchungsergebnisse werden von uns in einem medizinischen Befund mitgeteilt.
